It all started 60 years ago…
1960
In a small workshop in Agia Anna of Renti, Attica region, Argyris Malamas started manufacturing channel letters, illuminated signs and advertising constructions.
1975
Christos Malamas, having been taught the handcrafted art by his father, takes over the company. The workshop moves to new larger facilities in Metaxourgeio and operates there for many years.
2000
The company relocates its headquarters to privately owned facilities in Peristeri.
2003
Investments in new technologies bring the company to the forefront. The acquisition of a CNC laser cutting machine by Bystronic (Switzerland) broadens the cutting and bending services in advertising installations.
2010
Despite the country’s difficult economic situation, the company invests in technology by adding a CNC channel letter machinery becoming more competitive in both quality and maximum time delivery efficiency.
2013
Chrisma exports for the first time to Europe and USA, leading to a continuous increase of the company’s annual turnover.
2014
The third generation is incorporated in the family business.
2017
Further innovation and diversification of the channel letter supply station. Installation of electrostatic powder coating unit with excellent paint adhesion and great variety in colors, while applicable in a wide range of products and constructions.
2018
Installation of a new CNC hydraulic press brake with 3D design compatibility, enabling the development of sheet metal process and operation with maximum vertical integration in production.
Today
Vertical Integration Production Facilities expand maximizing the company’s manufacturing capabilities.
We are also involved in sheet metal manufacturing, providing end products or on-demand services. We can cover many different sectors in various façon services (cutting, bending, engraving, welding, powder coating, finishing). Thus, we undertake projects with architectural applications, advertising constructions, shop- fitting, furniture, artistic works and many other metal compositions. Each order is unique and custom made the time you request for it. Surely, we keep an archive of all our projects and anytime we can produce something identical from the scratch. The production volume is upon request – from one single letter to massive production.
Yes of course! We undertake from big corporate projects to small individual requests. Mind that you can even order one single letter no matter how tiny it is. Everything is custom made the moment you order it.
Surely we do! Our long experience and expertise enables us deal with demanding signage projects for different industries, from retail chains, offices, museums, shopping malls, casinos, hotels, and any kind of building facilities. There is a first pilot sample if requested, then close collaboration with the architects’ team and communication /advisory on design and options.
We operate as a b2b company serving as wholesalers. Our clients are mostly sign makers, architects, interior designers, engineers, technical agencies, and construction companies. As for the installation, we can always suggest you several partners that we collaborate for years.
We manufacture upon request till the production stage you wish. We deliver either an end product, or semi complete items, with or without led modules, or powder coating, or finished etc. We initially suggest ready-to- install solutions for better quality, budget and time control but since, everything is in- house it is easy for us to define the production phases and you to receive the items till the point you choose.
We ship worldwide! The client is responsible for the shipping fees and the products’ safety. The delivery times and fees are subject to each country’s regulations.
